To Be Haitian

We often times take so much pride to say that we are Haitian and waving this red and blue flag but we lack to ask what duty comes with the blessing of being born in the first black nation issued of revolution. Being Haitian is not just about wearing the flag and eating the “griot”, it is about knowing our culture, our strengths, and weaknesses.

We must be able to face problems and find ways to overcome them. As young Haitians, It’s our duty to look into the past and prevent the same mistake from happening again. Haiti Phoenix Inc. has found it necessary to reach all of our peers to participate in the journey of changing the world by making it a better place.

We will be building projects to not only work towards and promote “Haiti On a Positive Edge” but providing knowledge, support, care and happiness to people in need. We are working on our first official project, Haiti Clean Nèt that has for purpose to clean the cities of our dear country Haiti starting with the city of “Aux Cayes”. We are inviting everyone to jump on board this wagon of change and join our journey of a better Haiti.

Let’s not be Haitians by name but by heart and soul. Let’s not be seasonal Haitians, but true Haitians that answer when the horn of union echoes from the mountain of change and liberty.
